The Rails Tumblecast was (and still is) an experiment. It was running on a custom Rails application written by Ryan Bates of Railscasts fame (thanks Ryan :).

 Because of changes in my job, I'm now running the site with Joomla, a PHP open source Content Management System.  Since I need to learn and teach Joomla I figured I'd run this site with it.
